MyMarkets

1. What is a stock market heatmap?

A stock market heatmap is a graphical representation of stock data. Each stock appears as a colored rectangle.

  • The size represents another metric – such as market capitalization or valuation factors.
  • The arrangement represents the sorting by yet another metric.

Heatmaps make it easy to spot market trends, sector strength, or specific stock characteristics at a glance.
